Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in piano (NCTM) through the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
2002 Bachelor of Arts in Music from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory.

Currently, Alison is the president of the Youngstown Music Teachers Association (YMTA), a chairperson for District 1-B Ohio Federation of Music Clubs (OFMC), and a founding committee member of the YMTA Ribbon Festival. She is a member of MTNA, OMTA and Western Reserve MTA in Summit County.
In addition to her full-time independent teaching studio, Alison is a festival adjudicator and freelance pianist. An in demand accompanist, Alison regularly accompanies Jr. High District Honors Choir, and soloists at OMEA Solo & Ensemble contests. Previously, she has been an active accompanist for school choirs throughout the tri-county area, the Stambaugh Community Chorus and accompanied juries and recitals at Youngstown State University.
For 25 years, she has been a church pianist and organist, currently serving her fifth year as Music Director at Trinity UMC in Youngstown, Ohio.
Staying current with teaching trends and materials, Alison regularly attends conferences and is an active member of piano pedagogy forums online. Fascinated with teaching and learning styles, she strives to create a comfortable studio environment and tailors lessons to each individual student.
Her YouTube Channel, Alison Morris Piano Studio, was created a resource teachers and students participating in the NFMC Festivals. She is looking forward to begin recording the new festival bulletin this spring/summer.
